A green Christmas
The plant grows weaker and weaker, lower layer of leaves turned to yellow then fell off gradually. It lost the bright appearance and seems not adapted to indoor environment. Now I am in a dilemma as whether to keep it or not.

No orchid
I was wrong. The mottled leaves plant is not any orchid but a kind of perennial plants with pseudobulbs and will flower if I am taking good care of them. Not too disappointed.

Noid orchid
I saw a few pots of this Plant in a store this morning, no name labels on, blooms unseen but it has pseudobulbs and leaves with spotted marks that it looked alike kind of dendrobium or oncidium. I just bought one. Try my luck, hope the blooms coming soon! D or O or ? Full of my expectation!

Two little frogs
They are a kind of slipper orchids and would be flowering more than one time in a year. Now once again, their look alike green frog blooms are dancing happily up and down in the breeze.

A rendezvous with Jade
A trimmed jade plant stands on a red clay pot and surrounds by a kind of sedums avec a stub of Echeveria, lives again with new shoots all over. This jade plant is an offspring of the original I got almost twenty years ago. I'm trying to make it a bonsai.

Natural air refreshers
My mauve cattleya has had new shoot of flowering pseudobulb one by one, this is the fourth's since February. The blooms have delightful sweet fragance and are particularly strong in morning time. Since my coconut orchids have been blooming all the way from April, they scent likewise(all day long, smell like a pc. of cake), the swirling vortexes of the two different relishes of perfume around me, a good morning!

A relative of African violet
These perennial plants have produced several flower pouches, each conceived four white trumpet blooms. A week then, the white trumpets are now dancing in the air. But they will fade and drop off in 7 days. Come and go hastily. They bloom all year round.

Turn over a new leaf
Christmas had long gone. This foliage is no more a Christmas decor. Its red old leaves fell off gradually, the remained have a hint of green. The whole plant's size is triple the original's. Green shoots prevail, I am anticipating that a change for the next Christmas.

African violet
My all African violets were wiped out by unknown virus or pests last year. A few leaves were saved and propagated. Months ago, I found one of the baby plants got sick, unknown disease, so I placed it in a plastic bag as a makeshift smoke chamber, let it bathing in the smoke by burning a pc of mosquito repellent incense about 30 minutes. It seems cured recover afterwards. And keeps growing and flowering.
I took the same method for others when they got sick.
This African violet's flowers will drop down the linked petals with anthers in one pc when the flowers faded, that I gather why they are so named FallingRainDrop.

Hibiscus rosa-Sinensis
There are many colorful variegated-leave bushes alongside the river promenade near my home. They are so beautiful and have been manicured to a meticulous row. I didn't know their name until I have come across a vivid red bloom emerged from the colorful leaves. Why only one bloom?

Succulent plants
The rosette of burgundy/black is Aeonium Arboreum. The center part of leaves will turn back to green if under poor light. The rosette at right is Echeveria of fleshy glaucous leaves, that the margins and pointed tips are coloring up pink in full sun (maybe strong light alright).

Succulent plants
I chose a red clay pot as a rendezvous for a variety of Echeveria and Sedum.
At the back, two rosettes of greyish purple thick leaves around pinkish stems, and the one in the front with greyish green thick leaves are Echeveria. In middle row, a rosette of dark green thick leaves is Echeveria that will colour up red in full sun. The one at left with greyish green slender thick leaves should be Sedum. In between them, there are some interesting Sedums, for their dark green fleshy leaves look like geometric beans(tri-facet).
A hanging basket of coconut shell
After consumed the coconut flesh and sweet juice, I suddenly had an idea to use it as a hanging container for plants. I choked off the top part of the hard shell carefully and drilled holes for strings. A small plastic pot of Muehlenbeckia Axillaris was fitted in, then I hooked it to the window lattice. Now they can enjoy summer breeze all the time.
Muehlenbeckia Axillaris
These Muehlenbeckia Axillaris are thriving because of the warm and humid weather. Their brown wandering stems with green/yellow tone leaves covered on are extending fastly, looking for new colony.

These pink butterflies have light fragrance especially in the morning time. Smell lovely!

Cattleya
This is my only Cattleya Orchid. Their blooms have attractive purple appearance and sweet fragrance, can last about one month.
Peace Lily
These are the offsprings of the old one I bought many years ago. Their white blooms and verdant leaves make a fresh appearance.
A greenery spot
I put Monstera Obliqua(Swiss Cheese Vine) and 3 or 4 keikis of Coconut Orchid standing in the water.
A bouquet of green.

Maidenhair fern
Grown up plant
I've made an experiment of growing Maidenhair in water and it work! Let the plant sitting on a curl of fine nylon mesh in usual plastic pot(with draining hole) and then put the whole pot in a desired outer pot, pour in some water that just submersed the roots a little bit. The little one merely used a week to adapting from soil to water, and it goes happily. So lushy and pretty now. Be remember to refill some water everyday and feed it with nutrients once a month.
Christmas decor
I bought this Euphorbia Pulcherrima last Christmas. Only wanted to feel the X'mas atmosphere for one time purpose, then I might discard it, because it's an outdoor plant! But it has been staying quite relax at my home ever since. So be my guest!
